AVR Microbot with Tank Tracks
Here’s the microbot project I started. Its built with an ATtiny861 microcontroller, A3901 motor driver, and two pager motors. It has three sensors in the front that can give distance as well as light dark changes. I got the idea from the Sanida National Labs microbotbot. I didn’t have the budget they did, but I did have a lot of time on my hands.
The robot in the video is moving around inside a square of post it notes and was programmed to stay away from anything that wasn’t the desk surface. The largest part of the robot was the battery, its huge comparatively.
